Shop Owner / Homeopath: Jo Douglas purchased the Bethlehem Health Shop in August 2019. Her retail career started as a Pharmacy Technician when she left school and that led to over 25 years’ experience working in various pharmacies and herbal and homeopathic dispensaries.  Over this time she also trained in Shiatsu, Reiki, Massage, Flower Essences and gained a Diploma in Homeopathy. Jo is a firm believer in preventative health and loves having the opportunity every day to share her knowledge in a retail environment.

 

 

 


Naturopath / Admin & Sales Consultant: Eunice Lander qualified as a Naturopath/Herbalist from the College of Natural Medicine in Christchurch in 1997.  From here she worked in a health shop as a clinical  practitioner and consultant in Christchurch and later in the Bay of Plenty.  Eunice then became a full time Mum for 10 years joining the team at the Bethlehem Health Shop in 2010.  Drawing on her past experience and training as a naturopath plus her current knowledge Eunice enjoys helping people with their health concerns.  She is passionate about utilising nature's medicine kit to enhance general wellbeing and utilising the beneficial healing powers of plants.

 

 

Sales Consultant: Zanya-Leigh Petherbridge moved to NZ from South Africa in 2015. Through her struggles with Eczema she has developed a passion and respect for natural health. Zanya has been in the holistic health industry since 2009 and is a real asset to the Bethlehem Health Shop. "In my time working in the health industry I have grown a strong passion for healthy living. I believe the body is a beautiful and sacred place and the more we give it the love, respect & nourishment it deserves, the more we have the ability to flourish and love those around us".

 

 

 

Homeopath / Sales Consultant: Karen Box, a qualified registered homeopath, has been with the Bethlehem Health Shop since 2019. Karen has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to homeopathy and natural health and can recommend products for both yourself and your pets. Come in and see Karen on the shop floor, or for an in-depth consult you can book in to see her as she offers private homeopathic consultations out of our clinic room.

 

 

 

 

Naturopath / Sales Consultant: Beverley Hailwood is a qualified registered Naturopath with over 20 years of experience working in natural health, in both retail and clinic work. She joined our team as a casual staff member in 2022 and also sees clients from our clinic room one day a week.

 

 

 

 

Naturopath / Sales Consultant: 

Claire George is a registered Naturopath, who began her time with us while she was studying.  Her background in children’s motor programming and education prior to working in natural health has led to a passion for helping children with developmental and learning difficulties.  Claire is also trained in neuro integration, which supports her special interest in the health of the brain and nervous system.   She is passionate about sharing her love of nutritious food and herbal medicine to support people to live a healthy, vibrant life.   You can also book to see Claire for a private consultation from our clinic room.

 

Sales Consultant:
Keren Woodward's passion for natural health started while working as a qualified Pharmacy Technician. Giving meaningful and caring advice to her customers that improved their health and well-being with a more holistic approach was the main driver to dive deeper into learning more, and transitioning to work in some wonderful health shops over the years. She began her Diploma in Naturopathy, completing 2 years of study before leaving to live in Auckland, started a family, and began their business which she worked in for 13 years. After returning back to the beautiful Bay of Plenty, it was time to get back to the thing she loved the most. Her love for natural health, nutrition, and the many modalities that are available to us, have been crucial to living a healthier, more vibrant life. She is excited to be a part of this amazing team to help provide advice, love, and energy to this wonderful community.

 

Sales Consultant: Anna Kiriakidis foray into natural health came through her own health challenge which was resolved with medical herbs.  As her daughter grew through her education at Rudolf Steiner school, she went on to qualify in Health and Rebalance therapies, Reflexology, DrHauschka esthetician, first year papers of a Naturopathic degree and more recently, certificates in Usui Reiki and the First Light Essences of NZ. Over the course of her working life, she has been on the store floor in several health shops and pharmacies both in Tauranga and Hawkes Bay. She's passionate about supporting people in their wellness journey which includes the comprehensive options available to us through the abundance of our mother - Nature.
